Your feet will thank you.

Summer is officially here and kicks off with a bang! The summer solstice, which marks the beginning of summer in the northern hemisphere and the longest day of the year, takes place on June 20 once the sun enters Cancer. The following day, on June 21 at 9:08 p.m. EDT, there’s a full moon in Capricorn, also known as the strawberry full moon. These back-to-back celestial events signal a dynamic and busy season ahead!

The full moon in Capricorn always coincides with a moment of recognition and accomplishment. This is an aligned time to celebrate yourself and how far you’ve come. You may also experience an epiphany of sorts regarding your life path. Do the goals you once had still feel fulfilling and exciting? You may shed illusions about your career or even the expectations others have for you. Now is time to prioritize what you truly want to be remembered for and the work you’d like to contribute to the world.

Under these moonbeams, you may learn more information, experience a perspective shift, or feel ready to make an important decision.

As a cardinal earth sign, Capricorn is about initiating and building. Ruled by Saturn, the planet associated with time, Capricorn is also connected with history and tradition, and asks us to reflect on the environment we’re living in and the systems and structures that are in place. What parts of these systems are corroded and could benefit from some renovation? This is a great time to consider how you can take dedicated and consistent action to make an impact and work to build an upgraded world. Saturn also has to do with limits, commitment, and boundaries, and this full moon may grant you an opportunity to set some new expectations with the important people in your life or reconsider who and what you are currently committed to.

This full moon also reactivates themes and topics that emerged under the new moon in Capricorn on January 11. Think about what commitments you were making and the boundaries you set. Some goals you set for yourself at the start of the year may manifest under this full moon, or shine a light on what step you should take next.

When is the next full moon in Capricorn?
